Yep... they carry a huge amount of rsvs on the atl320, but we get used constantly. Why? Because ATL has as many 320 departures as DTW but less than 1/3 the pilots. So, when anything happens... we cover it. Brilliant... don't staff the base for the flying it does, instead have over 1/3 the category on rsv so you can cover the other bases that pass through.

They seem to put up a blind eye about the liquid thing, though they can pull it legally... it was the duty free thing that I was speaking of. No crewmembers can buy from dooty free.

After working for an LDS company for many years...... I feel we should stop any cult like/religious discussions before it gets out of hand............... Excuse me whilst I get back to my Krakauer reading list.:D It sure was fun talking about HBO's "Big Love" in the Salt Lake crew lounge! All kidding aside, SLC has plenty of hotties and the city is one of the cleanest in the country. Pretty safe too. The further south you go the bigger the hair. I swear that 80's hair band hair is still in vogue. Real snow, hot chics, big mountains, nice people and guns. Lots and lots of guns!!! |
Don't forget Park City is only a quick drive over the mtn...great beer.

Isn't all the draft beer in Utah 3.2 %? Was stuck there a couple of years ago for 3 days...Nor-easter...and it really took way too many to get me there...
Well, could of been the tolerance level too! Kinda kills it for a good draft micro/craft beer doesn't it? |

Aren't the aircraft at Hawaiin leased and not owned? Isn't that why their market cap stands at $320M? We can buy jets more easily then that.
Hawaiian owns 15 of the 18 717's after doing a deal with Boeing where it bought the 717's off lease. |

No, they aren't that stupid. You can't eat gold....
They are now the largest private land owner, largest private cattle operation, largest private wheat farm, and I beleive the largest citrus grower in the U.S. They own ALOT of land that produces food. A bushel of wheat will be worth more than a bushel of gold if you are hungry. |
