Sweetwater 420 is an IPA, but not marketed as such. Shame Kevin is no longer with the brewery. The guy was brilliant.

I do want them back. But not into my pocket. I want them to return to the Delta pilot group.

I don't want them sent to the bloated, inept bureaucrats at national whose standard of living has not suffered one iota, even as ours has plummeted. Or sent...
...to an insular, abuse-ridden MEC which doubles as the company's talking-point generator.
...to the FPL-collecting leeches hiding behind an opaque and corrupt expensing system designed to protect those who abuse and plunder it.
...to the regional pilot groups who grew by leaps and bounds at our expense.
...to the FAs who gained access to KCM with the resources of "our" union.
...to the same FAs who, by "our" union's own admission, bleed our negotiating capital before we even sit down at the the table.

Feel free to add to the list.

Sierra Nevada of course, ESP their Ruthless Rye. Sweetwater is really good! If you really want a hoptastic voyage try the Torpedo Ale by Sierra Nevada! O'Conner brewing company in Norfolk Va has a dark IpA which is awesome. I had it on tap in the Hampton Va hotel.

I enjoy those as well so I'm confident you'll like the Southern Tier IPA if you get the chance.

IIRC, they make a Double IPA as well. It is excellent. Very smooth.

Carl, We once had a similar discussion and disagreement on what a arbitrator would and should consider in a SLI much like what management considers when looking at pilot contractual improvements. How did that turn out for you?

You must know by now that I don't fall for these kindergarten tactics of changing the subject while pretending to be responsive. Try to focus sailingfun. Where is this "me too" policy written? Where is the record of management applying it consistently? Most importantly: Why do you and DALPA use this entirely discretionary "policy" as a bludgeon against any line pilot who wants our union to demand more than COLA increases?

Sailing you just made my day, I happen to remember those discussions when I first got on APC.

If you like Sweetwater, (I do, as well as most you guys have mentioned), you will also like Pike Pale Ale. It's the brew pub in Pike Place, Seattle. They won some golds for it before, it's my go-to beer when in Seattle and most of the local places carry it as well as the brewpub of course.

If you like "real beer", aka cask ale, there are some good places in Philly and Baltimore. Had an awesome bitter last month in Philly:
Uncle Teddy's Bitter (on cask) Victory Brewing, Pennsylvania
Uncle Teddy's Bitter - Victory Brewing Company - Downingtown, PA - BeerAdvocate

FINALLY some good and interesting posts! ;) I'm all for continued "BeerReps" from all over the system. AE info is nice to have, but probably more important on a daily basis is "WHERE is there some good local beer in DTW long?" "JFK long layo... where's the spot that's not BlarneyStone...again...?"
etc.

There is no question that the DAL-s desire for the SLI was chosen by the arbitrator. You won. That had nothing to do with what an arbitrator should/would consider because none of us could have predicted their decision. So tell me finis, why would you drag up a painful SLI process in the hopes to change the subject from a totally discretionary "me too" policy?

Because it somehow made his day and makes him feel better about him/herself. He'll/she'll be gone in quick time.
