ACL,

Thanks. Does the MacBook Air 13", w/ protective cover, fit in your rollerbag? Or do you carry it in an additional portfolio/man-purse(murse)?

Thanks,
GJ

I got the 254 gb solid state hard drive, w/ thunderbolt port the FaceTime camera. Its a fairly supped up machine, and frankly, I love it. My first Macbook and besides having to learn all of the function keys for MS Office its much better than a PC base laptop.
acl65, it will take you about 3 days...than you will never go back.

Had it since Jan, and love it. Only PC I use is the one in my office and that is used more for the Office based stuff and the quarterly CD's.

Fits in my rollerbag with no issue.

I also forgot that I got the Thule laptop case for the 13 inch macbook. Works like a charm. Its 80 bucks but its the best laptop case I have ever used.

I also bought a Antler Ultimate Traveler fro Ebags that is awesome. It works for my McRib, Macbook, Headset and a ton of other stuff. Allows me to pack my rollerboard for a longer trip and not worry about the computer on the top.

Oh and btw, the solid state hard drive allows it to remain in your bag though security.

I also travel with the 13 inch Mac Air - great machine! Take a look at the Brightline FLEX bags system Pilot Flight Bags, Modular Utility Bags, Pick your parts - Build your bag - Brightline Bags. Bought the one at The Stopover Store and love it! Computer, Mcrib, headset, iPad, flashlights, ... all fit into the bag easily.

Woah.

Are you able to elaborate on that at all?

Or anyone else on here that has a MacBook Air?

I have one and never realized it didn't have to be taken out!

Has the TSA ever questioned it?

My Apple-Mac IIe, from 1984, (Apple IIe - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) finally died & am looking to get it replaced. (Computer store said they can no longer fix it!)

Thanks for the replies.

That's not the study guide. To save money they eliminated any study guides. They condensed the initial systems into the VOL 1. Everything you need to know has a # beside it. I think they're going to eliminate VOL 2.

That there is the MD-90s database. When cleared direct to a fix on the jet route you're filed for and actually flying you sometimes reply "um, well, that fix isn't in our database..."

No kidding.. I would have loved to have had a mac this time, but after 10 minutes of looking at the prices... no way.

Got a super nice HP windows 8 lappy for 450 bucks.

To afford a mac, I would need to diversify my bonds with the help of Wu Tang Financial.
