The 8 year old that was senselessly killed at the marathon bombing was a boy. CNN released his name this morning. The other two are allegedly adults . So I'm not sure where that pic came from. Poor kid, may he rest in peace

Also, within an hour of the bombing a fake twitter handles was attempting to scam donations. Some people deserve a kick in the groin.

The problem is fundamentalism.

I'm to the point when something bad happens like this I turn off the news or just put it on mute and come back in a few hours. They pass through information with no filter which is fine but it usually turns out to be only about to be barely correct or completely baseless. And some of that comes from authorities and still turns out to be wrong.

I'll put it this way, Chuck Yeager was once asked about the end scene of The Right Stuff where he ejected and he said the only thing that they got right was that an F-104 crashed and he was piloting it. The rest of it was fiction.

I think early reports from the news and internet are just as fictional sometimes although for the most part unintentionally so. It's just the nature of the business. Unless it's Mayor Bloomberg, then it's probably complete B.S.
