Flying the 88 is like driving down the highway at 70 mph and chucking the steering wheel out the window...

The letters to Congress did make a difference. It was the letters to PROTUS that did not. Congress voted not to do this deal, PROTUS on the other hand went around Congress.

There are so many things that are wrong with this deal. ALPA is still fighting and if to take time to look at it, they are fighting something that they are currently not on the winning side of. To the observers that should be something you take note of.

I don't have anything nice to say, so I won't say anything at all.

Okay, I have something nice to say, I got a yellow flower.

Hopefully we'll all recall the ALPA national personnel urging a vote for Mr. Obama...as opposed to those awful Republican candidates.

There's truth to that on landing and takeoff.

The rest of the time its on autopilot which is a lot like driving down the interstate at 70mph and chucking the cruise control out the window and then pressing the cruise control ON button and putting your feet on the floor.

Thanks, actually trying to plan a trip to Ibiza which is not far from Barcelona, but definitely somewhere people only go in the summer

Oh! You should have said so... gonna get your dance on, eh? :D There are a ton of direct flights to northern Europe from Ibiza in the summer, including both Vueling and Transavia to AMS (DL has a ZED agreement with both, and they're eZed). I'm sure their loads stay pretty full... but if there's a flight decently open, may save you the fairly expensive and long ferry ride back to Barcelona or Valencia.
