Delta named Robert S. Rivkin as s.v.p. and deputy general counsel - International and Regulatory Affairs, a critical position that reflects Delta’s growing global presence and the increasing importance to Delta of governmental regulation and oversight in the U.S. and abroad.... Prior to joining Delta, Rivkin spent four years as General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Transportation, after being nominated by President Obama and unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate. At the DOT, Rivkin served as chief legal officer, counsel to Secretary Ray LaHood and twice was awarded the Secretary’s Gold Medal for Outstanding Achievement |

Are these more of the recently acquired RJ's that have expensive lease obligations that Bombardier would need to be compensated for to drop by way of additionally purchased 76 seaters? If the 717 deal hinged on getting out of the 50 seat leases why wouldn't WB's that require getting rid of 50 seaters hinge on the same? What would Boeing or Airbus do with 50 seaters? They would have to return them to Bombardier as well, and won't do it for a loss, and gee guys, they can't afford these new WB's unless they can dump the 50 seaters. https://lh3.ggpht.com/-AWlVyp4EnjA/U...1600/Deer6.jpg |
91 year old Jack Fleck is golfing in the Master's Par 3 contest. He really looks amazing. I hope I look/golf that good at the age of 90+

Don't shoot the messenger, but don't post screen shots of the MCDU or ND, or anything else cockpit related while in flight. The company doesn't go fishing for that stuff but another outside agency does. A month off without pay will hurt the wallet/pocketbook.
