Where did they find all those ghosts??

They scare me, so I'm only going through there in the daylight!

Those aren't ghosts Timbo, those are the newhires from this past fall. You know the ones that were hired upon us ratifying the TA.

They look so qualified and healthy! I wonder how their IOE's are going? I bet they are living the dream. They have terrific careers ahead of them. (BTW...UAL is hiring 60+ / month through the summer and over 70/mnth after the summer ends).

Delta named Robert S. Rivkin as s.v.p. and deputy general counsel - International and Regulatory Affairs, a critical position that reflects Delta’s growing global presence and the increasing importance to Delta of governmental regulation and oversight in the U.S. and abroad....

Prior to joining Delta, Rivkin spent four years as General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Transportation, after being nominated by President Obama and unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate. At the DOT, Rivkin served as chief legal officer, counsel to Secretary Ray LaHood and twice was awarded the Secretary’s Gold Medal for Outstanding Achievement
A very Southwest-ian maneuver. Let's get those DOT/FAA functionaries thinking about their futures at Delta...

Sad thing is they look more capable than I, but that still no excuse to not wear your hat.

I blame content locker, thing crashes more than the North Korean Air Force.

There, fixed it for you.

Are these more of the recently acquired RJ's that have expensive lease obligations that Bombardier would need to be compensated for to drop by way of additionally purchased 76 seaters?

If the 717 deal hinged on getting out of the 50 seat leases why wouldn't WB's that require getting rid of 50 seaters hinge on the same? What would Boeing or Airbus do with 50 seaters? They would have to return them to Bombardier as well, and won't do it for a loss, and gee guys, they can't afford these new WB's unless they can dump the 50 seaters.

I thought someone said that Delta announced they werent going to buy all the 76 jets they asked for in one of those online calls?

91 year old Jack Fleck is golfing in the Master's Par 3 contest. He really looks amazing. I hope I look/golf that good at the age of 90+

Don't shoot the messenger, but don't post screen shots of the MCDU or ND, or anything else cockpit related while in flight. The company doesn't go fishing for that stuff but another outside agency does. A month off without pay will hurt the wallet/pocketbook.
