Yeah especially the guy who said he wished he had seen it live. YGTBSM.
As is sometimes the case, the losses amount to workman's compensation claims which are completely inadequate for the need. I do appreciate our life insurance and ALPA's inclusion in our contract. |

Chilling is an understatement. Its almost impossible to contemplate.
Pilot had no chance. That thing came down like a brick. Just stopped flying. Had to be the cargo broke loose in the climb. The CG looks so far aft they wouldn't have got 10 feet off the ground if they had actually loaded up and rotated in that shape. Only other explanation could be some sort of catastrophic control failure I suppose. RIP to those poor souls. |

A dash cam caught it on video. It is on liveleak. It is chilling. Went in slightly nose low, gear still down. I won't post it as I have two good friends that work there and was sick to my stomach when I heard there was an accident. Fortunately they were not onboard.

It was horrible. Understand members of the crew had wives and kids. Let us hope they will be cared for ... is the operator ALPA?

They are not a unionized carrier. I just talked to my friend who works there and they are about to go fly. They are doing as good as they can be right now. |

Awful feeling knowing someones wife, husband, brother, sister, dad, and mom had to receive such a terrible phone call. |
