I'll bet Microsoft will be able to dump these useless new Windows 8 tablets on some unsuspecting big new customer who wants to use them, instead of carrying around a 40lb. a bag full of paper...

Delta to buy 10,000 new Betamax VCRs Spokesman: We got a great deal from Sony. What could go wrong? |

Do you have to go out of MSP? The Whale is now flying ATL-NRT, and (I think) DTW-NRT and JFK-NRT. I hear it's got an extra jumpseat (3) in the cockpit, and since it's got a lot more seats, you might have better luck getting the whole family on one of those if you can find one with lots of open seats.
There are also other flights out of LAX, SFO and SEA to NRT. Check them all, see if any are 'wide open'. |

Like to hear more about what you think. Are we better off because someone else flies Delta's 90-100 seat platform? Is that a benefit?
Obviously some US Air pilots are not bidding it. But they are US Air Pilots and they have the choice. OK no one else is taking the bait so I will, who would that be Bar? |
Good to know that the Whale has 3 jumpseat. |

Even ALPA's ingrained speed/weight/productivity/wing loading/sex appeal formula uses max certifiable, not just chosen seats installed. Yet when it comes to outsourcing, we "limit" management to outsource only the configuration they intended to in the first place. DCI outsourcing is at the 90-100 seat range already. Big time. |
Did something happen recently? Rumors of SWA buying Alaskan are hitting overdrive.
