I invited him to sit on the jumpseat, but he declined because he was with his wife. We chatted for a little bit, but we were pressed for time so it wasn't too extensive. As the conversation wound down and he got ready to go back to the cabin (coach seat) he politely asked us if he could get us something to drink from the galley.

Great guy. I know it's a business, but I'm glad he's our CEO.

Better than the rest of the CEOs.

All the fuel boost pumps from all the tanks of TWA 800 were recovered. The scavenge pump for the center tank was the only one not recovered. The last thing the NTSB deciphered from the CVR was the scavenge pump for the center tank being turned off. Yes, they deciphered this from the CVR. As finis said, the explosion was an internal one. All the metal was bent as from an internal explosion. Trust me, in this situation, one plus one equals two.

Incident: AMC B738 at Thessaloniki on Jun 15th 2013, overran runway on landing

I like the whiny baby FO voice crying in the background. "Put the flaps down, dude, put the flaps down." In Greek, of course.
