Alaska is run by Mormons? And don't sell them short, just like every other group, they've got their share of dummies.
No, but Skywest is & this Alaska contract means huge opportunities for them & all of the 100-seat aircraft they just signed orders for!.

I think after the meeting tomorrow, it will become obvious that the Alaska Airlines we all know, is history.

not surprised ATL is having trouble. seems every day a huge thunderstorm is taking position a few miles east of the airport and hanging out all day.

And strangely quiet on the 320 front for GSs. They are waiting for me to go back on regular call next week.

Wait, what?? One physical a year again? I put this off for months and months, and finally got one on the 2nd because IScrew kept harassing me. Where are you guys seeing we don't need 2 a year now?

The new rules appear to not require it. I imagine confirmation from cobra command will be coming soon.

Yes, ALPA victory apparently. They appealed it and the FAA agreed.

Yep. For the government, this one went about as good as I think it could have. I like the restricted ATP items- 23 was too old (I was 22 years old with 1800 hours), and the reduced xc times are not a bad thing. I've learned it can be exceedingly difficult for part 141 instructors to get the 500 hours of xc time prior to their first transport job.

I got it, but I did corporate flying and aircraft sales deliveries/demos at the same time as CFIing...

No real complaints except the flight school carveouts... I don't know if there was any undoing that aspect.
