That's him! I'd recognize him anywhere now. I was in the sports bar minding my own business drinking water when Timbo and his gang of 777 thugs walked in. They held me while Timbo poured beer down my throat. Something about now that I'm a Delta pilot, I better start acting like one!

The right and wrong of forcing beer downs one throat is not as important as who picked up the tab.

Btw when a 777 and 747 pilot meet at say a Narita overnight, what kind of beer and food do they order? Is it like something better than Natty Light from the gas station?

Did you feel an irresistible urge start wearing your hat after that moment of hazing? Those 777 guys are quite the intimidating bunch, even when they were younger.

Airplane Repo is on discovery channel tonight. I think I may be pouring a cold one (or 2... or 3) and enjoying this. :)

Favorite part so far: overdubbing the sound of a PT6 starting up instead of the real sound of a Cessna 421 with a geared piston engine. I was commenting to my father in law how those sound unique... and then that sound started instead. whoops.

I don't think I can watch. I did enjoy the previous episodes - although as SATA pointed out in a different thread - there was some spurious drama added that I could live with.

The new episode teasers are just too much. The engine start noise you point out, the repo guy using an auto gps to find the next airport, "I think I have enough fuel, screw it, we're going". Then the runway lights are out and he again throws caution to the wind (pun intended) with a curse and grunt and firewalls it. Then there's the scene of him being arrested at gunpoint - spread eagled on the ground. I'll DVR it and try to watch tomorrow.
