Sorry for the thread drift...I put in a request for a trip swap in open time, around 11:15 this am. Any ideas as to when that trip swap would be looked at?

I heard our Airbus order will be announced shortly after 2Q numbers... Maybe tomorrow?

Option 1 works, but you can't change seats.
Haven't tried option #2. That's pretty durn smart. Normally, I am able to move my seats under the first option multiple times. On a side note you may be trying to book in a EC or premium seat too far out from departure (24 hrs for employees) and it is refusing to let you move. |
Scheduling question
Can someone out there answer a 23k recovery question for me. This is my first time doing any recovery flying.
I have 23k on my schedule from the 11th - 23rd of AUG. Am I to assume that scheduling has till 0700E two days prior to my original report to assign me a trip. If they don't assign me a trip I am free to go and pay protected. If scheduling assigns me a trip, does it have to start on the 11th or can it start anytime from the 11th to 23rd. Last question, is it to my advantage to fill out a recovery slip? Thanks for your help, BFS |

MEC Update 13-2
Wow!
From the update: "At that point, Delta expected to grow compared to JV partners Air France, KLM and Alitalia. Due to many factors, this growth beyond our “fair share” has not occurred." So if we were to meet the "contractually agreed to" numbers then we would be flying more than our "fair share" of the flying. No wonder DALPA does not seem too concerned about this. This brings up numerous questions: If the contractual number is not fair - why did we and/or our partners, and the company agree to them? If the contractual numbers do not represent our fair share of the flying then what is our fair share? Why don't they just say the company is not meeting its obligations and we expect them to correct it? OBTW - Who had the great idea of a 3 year measurement window anyway? Scoop  |
