I am starting my M88 initial qual cbt's. Does anybody know if the cd is compatible with a mac?

I can think of one way to unload those things .....

I have not seen a single person that has a Surface tablet. I stopped by a Surface kiosk in a mall to take a peek at what we are getting and I probably wouldn't pay anything for one of them.

A guy in my crash pad has one. It didn't look that bad, but I never got a chance to mess with it. What did you dislike most about it?

Has anyone had the experience of having to do Jury duty? If so, could you enlighten me with your experience and how the company handles pay, daily procedures etc...?Thanks in advance.

I faxed my summons in, and between the CPSC and scheduling (sorry, don't recall exactly the sequence) it was put on my schedule. I was told by the CPSC when I called to confirm that someone had received it that scheduling would most likely remove the entire 4-day trip I had on the schedule (trip was Fri-Mon and jury duty started on Mon). Instead, scheduling took the last leg off the Sunday trip and I was released from the flying on Monday (paid). I've also spoken to those who have had their entire trip paid for and removed from the schedule when it just touched one day. But my experience (prior to summer flying) was that since it was weekend flying they weren't going to be so generous. My guess is that depending on your category, they might be inclined to be more on the stingy side even if the entire trip is during the week because of the greenslips going out. JMO...like I said, depends on the category.

Don't know, but it doesn't matter since nothing is compatible with the mad dog.

Woof.

Can't argue with you there. Hopefully I can talk some smack postseason this year!

PS. The 'tomahawk chop' maybe the dumbest thing in sports. Rant over.
Easy now...we stole it from the noles. I'd like to have a comeback against the cards but they are a great team with some of the best fans in baseball. They just have had their arses handed to them by the braves for the last two games!!

That's the truth! They even use the recording of the Marching Chiefs playing the "Seminole war chant" (the real name of it) now.

Thanks for the feedback. I sure hope they drop the rest of the month.

Sierra, fax your summons to the CPSC. They'll drop/pay you for a trip that conflicts with your jury duty. If you get extended, which happened to me last year when I was picked to be the foreman (foreperson, whatever) you'll need to call scheduling and let them know. Once you're released from duty, you need to call scheduling and let them know you're available again. They won't just drop the rest of the month, for example. It's one trip/a group of reserve days at a time.

I get called all the time in CA. My wife has never been summoned. I'm not sure how they "randomly" select people but I get it exactly once a year. Good luck.

Jumpseating to ATL today, the FO said that he had RA in his Jumpseat earlier from DCA-ATL. RA told him to expect an aircraft order announcement in August. 10 widebodies, 30 narrow bodies. Either A330s or 777s, and either A321s or more 737-900ERs.
