I'm curious if this means an expansion of LAX 73N?? Hopefully on this next AE.

Considering the expertise 73N F/O's have with Bleeds Off Take Off power in the -800 out of SLC ... don't expect to see a lot of -900's in places too far above MSL. I'm surprised UCAL flies their 800's to BOG.

The tires have limit speed of 235 miles per hour, or 204 knots. Decreasing rotation speed by 1 degree per second results in about another 5 knots of airspeed before the mains lift off. I expect the emphasis will shift back and forth between "don't hit the tail" and "don't over-speed the tires."

I got to deadhead on a 767-300ER in First Class with lie-flat seats. Oh my, I could do that again.

Took off behind a Conited 900 in Vegas a few days ago...that was a scary long take-off roll.

Updates to the baby Bus fleet. Does anyone else find this little morsel of info extremely interesting?

I think it confirms the 321 rumors.

I had heard that part of the negotiating process was getting approval for having the aft galleys pulled, RNP and extending the life of the older 320s.

Adding IFE to the 319s tells me the fleet has received a new lease on life.

They got Vodka in those galleys?

I hate to be the negative nancy on this, but nothing in the announcement says anything about the size of the fleet. We can still see some of the older 320's retired.....

Don't worry though. It can do what a 757 does.
