Come on. You know you are pushing the limits. :D

New, I don't know many, if any, who don't believe that healthcare reform is way overdue. I don't know many, if any, maybe you, who believe this current program doesn't make things worse and much more tax-dependent.

I, for one, especially take exception to the fact that nobody in power really knew what in the hell the bill even said....and then they exempted themselves from having to be covered by the program they voted for.

Do as I say, not as I do. Please.

What will happen, is there will be an underground doctor market of those M.D.s that left....so you'll still be able to get good care when you want it, it will just be cash only.....Thank you low information voters....

My opinion only.

There already is an underground doctor market, it's called medical tourism. You want an experienced doctor? Well, the Thai MDs do knee and hip replacements, the Brazilians do boob jobs and plastic surgery, the Indians do internal medicine, etc. They are super experienced because that's all they do. They are also dramatically cheaper than the US and there is no wait.

Americans already pay for/subsidize the prescription medication price for the rest of the world by paying higher drug prices here in the US. This covers the r&d and certification of the drugs plus a 7 year profit on the patent for the drug company that developed it. On our two borders, the same drugs are cheaper by a factor of 10. In Mexico and India, you don't need a prescription to buy anything from anabolic steroids to pharmaceutical amphetamines and everything in between.

Obamacare is nothing more than lifespan management. Soylent green is people.

DALPA's latest poll

Got a call last night from UNH conducting an ALPA survey. It addressed the DPA almost exclusively. The last question asked if I would vote for the DPA.
It seems the last few months have seen DALPA addressing the DPA directly and now an official poll. Maybe the DPA has more support than some think? The timing is interesting to me and i think it has a lot to do with the pacific and Atlantic scope issues. If DAPLPA messes that up it could mean renewed/new support for the DPA.

Ps, I heard the aircraft order has been pushed out 60-90 days. Anyone else hear this?

....or maybe the MEC is tired of the lies and disunity being sown through the pilot group... The DPA charade has gone on too long and it's time to put the lies to bed.

This isn't about "pilots who have submitted a card", we are all Delta pilots who want us to be the as successful and effective as possible. I want every pilot with an issue to work to resolve it, the system will work fine, and almost every DPA "member" is an ALPA member too... We are on the same team, some just don't realize it due to the lies they've been told.

The problem is not pilots, it's the "DPA organization" that deliberately lies and uses manipulation of emotions to try and convince pilots into a course of action that could destroy our own very effective and efficient organization. It's serious, and the emotion needs to be removed when making these decisions.

If you submitted a card, ask for it back. Take :20 minutes to call your rep and then maybe work on a resolution that can logically and rationally fix a small problem that has been overblown and clouded by emotion.

If it wasn't for Tim C. the DPA would probably already have had a vote already. That moron needs to step aside immediately if the DPA is to have any chance. I am still amazed that the others helping him haven't banded together and asked him to take up some other role that has him in a back room some where with no contact with the outside world.

Those aren't cheerleaders. That's the Mom's section.

Here's some auburn Mom's.

Let's not admit that ALPA has big problems. Just blame it on DPA. It's all their fault. We'll see how that strategy plays out.

On the contrary, the quickest way to shut DPA down is to have a vote. Send in a card and then let the pilot group overwhelmingly vote no. Or are you afraid that's not what would happen?

A :20 minute call to my rep is going to fix ALPA's "small" problem? Why didn't you say so sooner. I'm dialing now...
