Like I have said, the MEC is looking at this very closely and it monitoring it on a day to day basis. If it comes to a press to test, established has many logical meanings and those will be used.

Look under the definitions section. I know I had this concern when it was a TA and I found something that cleared it up. I don;t have the contract handy, and I really don't feel like going to the website and doing the research on the fly.

EDIT: FLEET is defined in the PWA "Fleet" means aircraft in service, unsergoing mx, AND operational spares.

Hangar queens DON'T count. You're correct.

But couldn't they say we have 5 B717s in the shop right now thus they're undergoing maintenance thus per the PWA definitions section they're in the fleet and we can operate 4 CRJ900s?

No revenue 717's..... No 153+ 76 seaters.

But FLEET is defined. And there are 3 conditions that all have to be met. Planes just sitting doesn't cut it.

Exactly. Established means operational and operational means in revenue service. Until that happens its not established and only planed.

Thanks.. just found that!

As of right now, the Pinnacle CRJ900s are supposed to be sitting on the ramp in MSP for a month if they comply with waiting for the 717 to come online.

Well TBH I have no idea how to monitor that. Guess I've found a project! :D

If you note, the flying apparently was removed on the 717 open time a few days ago. Its a new development, and they are watching it. I assume communicating with the company too.

That is a good thing isn't it? Means no 717's no 76 seaters correct?

New 900s will sit until their corresponding 717/s is/are online.
