It will never be tracked. Mostly it is a thing to look at. I think it looks better than any Ferrari built since 1972. http://www.firstcoastnews.com/images...20-%20Copy.jpg http://www.firstcoastnews.com/images...20-%20Copy.jpg Guess GM needs to develop a program for computer rendering careless paint techniques, otherwise customers show up expecting this. |
With all of this reserve talk I went and looked at the ATL 88B res. The senior guy on 88B has already flown 60 hours this month! So much for worrying about the buckets. With guys now flying this much on reserve will it increase the manning because of the "Staffing formula"?
I'm thinking reserve will start to go junior again with guys flying so much. The ALV+15 was a huge concession on C2012. |
I'm ATL M88B reserve this month by choice. I've been on call 11 days and worked 7. Total of 37 hours. I've had 2 short calls and been called on one of them. Last month I had 5 short calls with no call outs.

I'm thinking reserve will start to go junior again with guys flying so much. The ALV+15 was a huge concession on C2012. Reserve usage is totally base/equipment/seat specific. Some bases fly reserves a lot - others hardly fly reserves at all. Not sure looking at one guy one month is much of an indicator of anything. I would really like to see a system wide analysis of reserve usage for this past summer. I don't think the ALV+15 was much of a factor - no where near the impact of the 30 day month, which I think was Huge! Scoop |
Scoop,
I agree with your analysis. In other news, United admitted in Court that it charges it's best frequent fliers more to redeem rewards. That is a big disincentive to be a UAL customer. Hotel Pricing Lawsuit Reveals How Airlines Value Frequent Fliers - Businessweek I say, welcome to Delta. |

One bad thing I just read is that delta pilot medical just went up $936 a year for a family.

I am thinking about getting an amex platinum card, as a commuter the lounge access would be nice. Does anyone have good or bad experience with amex?

Every time I have used a seat request on standby I have never had issues.... Also you don't even need a boarding pass to go into the US Airways lounge.... That may change with the AA merger, but so far it has been great on long sits or while commuting. Only thing is you cannot wear in there is your uniform, usually I just wear a jacket and never have had a complaint.
