I was referring to the ticket/tours office (or whatever they call it now). They've helped hook us up with some off-the-radar options for places on the continent, and they've always been superb.

I hadn't even thought of CVG. Great to have in the hip pocket. BTW, can someone clue me into what the code is when it comes to taxes for non-rev international travel?
Does that mean it costs $173.50 round trip for each non-rev pax? Just wondering what the $217 "Base Amount" is. Maybe, it's not a big deal. But, I would ask one of the moderators what they think. No disrespect. Just trying to keep everyone's noses clean.... |

Avoid AMS altogether. The departure taxes out of there either by rail, train, bus, or rental car are enormous! They will get you one way or another. Fly direct, or better yet, fly as close as you can to anywhere other than AMS and buy Zeds or rail it in from there.
Just my experience. |
Good stuff to know. Thanks, fellas.

Mods, if it's not too much trouble please remove the screen shot of the fare quote. Thanks in advance. |
If you're going to start or end the trip in Amsterdam, then fly in or out of Amsterdam. Yes the departure tax is cheaper than Manila or Liberia or Shannon but you aren't in any of those places -- you're in Holland. You will pay money for a train to save on the departure tax. So, not saving much.

the c7 is a major step up from the c6. After driving the c7, i can say it is right up there with the 991 carrera s. The difference being the 991 still has better steering feel and handling, with a nicer fit and finish. The vette though is $40k cheaper and definitely cheaper to maintain. Insurance cost is higher on the vette though.
I'm on the two year waiting list for a 458, but last month, i started looking at airplanes. If you can stretch to get a used ferrari 430, that is the way to go. |

Quick question;
the PCS run order of w/s, drop and swaps, is it drops first, then white slips, and swaps is last...right? It's been so long since there's been any open time to swap with, I can't recall! I'm trying to swap trips on same days, but I think you can get ahead of the swaps, by dropping first, then white slip, then white slip your original trip if you didn't get the one you wanted....if they run the drops first. Thanks in advance. |
