One place was across the street, right turn, walk 3 blocks and the entry door was not on the main drag, but the 1st door in on the side street. They had $1 drafts at happy hour.

The other place was in hells kitchen, dollar drafts and free hot dogs.

I think the free hot dog one had a statue of a pig out front.( rudysbarnyc)

That's hilarious... BTW, have you flown a 717 yet?

Why, is that you Bar?

Are the 717s going to be common qual? If so with what other frames? 88/90 or -9?

Nope .

So how are they flying them around as a separate category but only 1 plane?

There will be 88 eventually.

The entire fleet of 88/90's are being retrofitted with glass & new FMC's.

I'm willing to bet when that's complete, the company will petition the FAA for 'single category' amongst the 717/88/90 equipment. Thereby, further increasing the efficiency of the pilot group.

Just my opinion.
