Looking forward to a good game between FSU and Auburn!
I'm glad to hear something good about him. My neighbors are all UF Grads and they were not too happy when he decided he would retire, too much stress, etc. then all of a sudden he's coaching again...at Ohio?!

In order to guarantee, uninterrupted 10 hours of prospective rest the green slips would have to be assigned earlier.
Not true, that's the beauty of it.

I will have to go back and look, but with WS or GS since you are under no obligation to acknowledge, I don't "think" it is considered breaking your rest.

The first thing we need to do is, define Rest. What is Rest?

Is commuting into ATL rest?

Is sitting at home on the couch watching Auburn beat Alabama rest?

Is sleeping in a black chair in the crew lounge rest?

Is tossing and turning in bed, in a noisy hotel room with the maids vacuuming and knocking on the door all day, before you have to fly an all-nigher rest?

Is sitting in a business class seat for 3 hours during a noisy meal service, filled with PA's, rest?

I think Delta needs to buy out the top 5 floors at the Hilton on Virginia Ave. and put all the crews there for 10 hours prior to every sign in!

Just as an aside, bUTch Jones, the VOLs new football coach would not allow the football team to be referred to as "Tennessee Football" until they improved significantly from the cellar. Being that this is the 117th year of UT football, so he referred to them as "Team 117". I have been creeped out that both Team 117 and FR 117 are not very good. Coinkidink?

I would think we need a response now. This could have significant implications on how one will bid for January. Maybe these new rules will make the case for a Reserve schedule more compelling.

Perhaps this is the time for 1.5 or 2.0 pay for everything above 75 hours.

I was kind of thinking the opposite regarding reserve... I have vacation in Jan and with the good deal that reserve is now, bidding reserve in a vacation month is a no brainer. (78 hours guarantee in a month with a 72 ALV). Now, I am not so sure... I think some clarification from dALPA is essential very soon.... I think their phones will be melting on Monday
