Just an update here....

Switched from Sabre Flightline to Pro Diem taking the advice of some of my fellow posters. $59 as advertised and quick turn around time.
I have a MAC and the process took approximately 15-20 minutes and the report was sent to me the next day.

Overall pretty content with my experience.

I think the format of the flightline schedule is nice, but last time it took me til April to get it so this time I said no. I guess you can order the pro diem one for $59 on top of the flightline and still come out ahead and have your return in early February instead of after April 15th.

It's a two hands in a bush and time value of money thing.

Without negotiating or giving up anything, I would think it would be in the best interest of the company to keep their "machines" fed and nourished.

I simply go eat as needed between legs. If the flight ends up going late it's not something I control. The company will look at the number of late flights and decide when they want to board meals outside the contractual requirements.

I will have to agree with Sailing on this one...
Same idea as the 8hrs and 117 check your schedule debacle ongoing. Until enough pilots follow the rules as the see tem to a T, causing heartburn to the company, nothing will change!
The last scheduler I spoke to actually mentioned the reserve guys being able to start no earlier than 12p in the first day back is causing many o the green slips and scheduling problems. Time will tell...

Is the back door only something you can do in the crew lounge?

I get errors every time I try that entry method.

You think reading this scares the new hires? It should.

I'm in the lounge and can't get into the 88B's, but then again I'm not much into the back door thing
