Not true. Although the Award function works with AND logic, i.e., Award Pairings IF Duty Legs = 3 would return only trips in which every duty day has exactly 3 legs, the Avoid function works with OR logic, i.e., Avoid Pairings IF Duty Legs = 3 filters only trips in which at least one duty day has exactly 3 legs.

More to the point, "Avoid Pairings IF Duty Legs > 3" filters only trips in which at least one duty day has more than 3 legs.

Source? The last I heard was that the company and ALPA had agreed that the 120 day clock would not run as long as they were still talking. Do you know something different?

As this is a hard non-fly day, you would have the right to call Crew Scheduling to let them know of the conflict, and they would be required to make "every reasonable effort" to resolve the conflict.

I think what you meant to say was that you cannot be awarded or assigned a rotation that would violate a PD or APD day. You most certainly can be made to fly into an X-day.

See 23.N.21,22, & 23. Also 23.O.17,18, 19 & 21

I will try and wash away that mental image.
