As a commuter, the most important thing to me is the time to report.

That would be 1983, in a basket at the end of the crew scheduling counter. My hero's were the guys with two or three envelopes in the basket. [Wisconsin farmers] C/S had the picture wall with all the Vietnam action photos.

We'll see. In reaping my juniority, I have to get up at the bright and early hour of 0735 in the morning.

Luckily, I've got an awesome sleeper of a kid. He goes to bed at 2130 and usually gets up around 0900.

You might not have the money...but neither will they.

But soon, I'm sure they'll use Big Data to beat us down. Another year or two--in fact, probably just in time for the next Section 6--and captains will be getting pinged by the CP: "we see your APU burn time is 20% higher than average for this temperature on this aircraft at this airport. Why don't you take a week off to think about it?"

...and ALPA will threaten to think about possibly considering a weakly worded letter to explore the possibility of a grievance.
Can they tell how long you leave the gear down?

Reroute is one of the worse sections of our contract! There should never be a reason for a pilot to "expect" to be rerouted outside of the footprint of their trip. I get the whole "beyond the companies control" B.S., but the problem is their ability to wave that B.S. in our face regularly. ANYTHING outside of a foot print of an assigned trip, be it resv or as a line holder, needs to be at double pay. There needs to be a penalty to the company for extending us and or in other words an incentive for them to get us back on time every time!
Sorry, I've been burned by the reroute bug more times than I care to admit and all was "legal" per our contract.

No, but it could be a backup on the last flight that would get us there for the tour start. We are planning to leave 3 days early. How can you tell if it is refundable? Here is what TravelNet says:

Now, what does that all mean?

The associated Fly for EVEN Less fare has the wording "This ticket is non-refundable" under it, which implies that the Fly Confirmed for Less fare would be refundable. You certainly can't read the above and verify that.
