You missed the point.

You are correct. I should have been more specific about not including flow thrus. They are the exception not the rule.

The whales will almost certainly be replaced by... wait for it... 777-300ERs. Which at the least would pay the same as the 747.

He's talking about all the guys that will get displaced when that many positions on the highest paying equipment go away. I would argue they won't completely go away. There will be alt least some similar paying equipment to replace them.

Denny

Doh! 80 beat me to it. That's what I get for having fat fingers and typing on an iPhone.

Oh, I thought he was talking about longevity based rates vs productivity matrix.

There is only one current negotiation ongoing and that is about changes for 117. As of Wednesday there was no agreement however they were rumored to be close. RA addressed the MEC in closed session Wednesday morning. Perhaps there might be a push to get it done.

My understanding is they have been working on FAR 117 LOA and Virgin LOA.

Vote No! That'll show 'em!

Oh wait, I'm a year ahead of schedule on that.

Sorry for getting it done early, I guess that means I "left more rhetoric on the table". Lesson learned: don't take the first bombastic offer you get.
