If you tube the HR interview badly enough you might be done, but one guy in my group was told he was very close to the cut line (score?) on the HR and they told him to call back in a year. He'll get put back into the queue, doesn't have to do the computer testing again, but still will have to do the MMPI and psych interview, since he didn't get that far.
Either way I don't think very many can expect that. |

3 honest questions here.
1. Why don't we have personal time? The once a year unpaid APD is not personal time. 2. When in section 6 what is the "value" placed on the sick program? 3. If we were to say all sick time is unpaid would that "value" be put into hourly rates? Yet for some reason, we collectively love a lot of extremely low value vacation days, a use it or lose it sick system that does a good job covering those who are sick but rewards abusers and punishes the honest and everything else unpaid. I'd like to see significantly more value per vacation day and some sort of personal day pay or unused sick time rebate, etc. Doubt it'll ever happen though. We'll get a 6th week full of 3 hour days before we ever get anything resembling a reform of the current system. |

so, let's pretend you are right in your assumption.
What is wrong with a bro venting? It's his daughters graduation! Let him vent if that is the case. What is the bfd? What, are you so personally irritated if someone, god forbids, vents here? This is apc you do know. http://etc-mysitemyway.s3.amazonaws....ess-tools1.png congratulations groundstop. You win totd. Yay! Confetti. Golf claps. Cake. |

Guys,
I have a flight with a LCA this month. Originally I was going to use PB Days to drop it with pay, but then I thought I might get lucky and be bumped for an IOE. Its kind of moot now - reserve coverage went negative for those days and so I used my PB days to drop a different trip. I am curious about there being any way to know ahead of time if an IOE is being planned or scheduled? I think I will get a call the night before the trip if I get bumped, but are there perhaps any telltale notes on the rotation that might be revealing? Thanks Scoop |

Where in the PWA does it say scheduling can " add any crap they want to your schedule any time they want" on a spill trip!
I can understand within the same days as you were scheduled to fly but why more days? I have a trip that ended at 1000 on July 3rd, why does the union think it's a good idea or even ok to add flying till 1pm on July 4th. So if you want July 4 off why should you have to bid no flying 4 days prior to that day just so u don't get screwed because we gave up July as a 31 day month in the last contract. |

I'd prefer a single bank system that offered more flexibility, provided the accrual rate was acceptable.

New long layover in DTW. I liked the last one, big hotel with lots to do in it... which was good as you didn't really want to go outside much. Weird, I read all sorts of new hotels in the recent memos, but they were all for places I don't go overseas... they neglected to mention DTW.

The van driver 3 weeks ago pointed it out stating that we were gonna move there he suspected. Exterior looked straight out of 1978. Several blocks away along the river. Not anywhere I'd be walking around much. |
