Talking to my TOE LCA they were doing payback on the guy for stuff he had done to them. Not healthy.

I can't speak to the 76 guy but the 73 LOE person has been there forever.

The 717 OE planner was very good IMHO.

That guy is just awful. The lady that did the 767 domestic OE planning was absolutely amazing on the other hand. I can't believe she didn't get the overall gig over him when the categories were combined.

Flying with a LCA

Guys,

I have a flight with a LCA this month. Originally I was going to use PB Days to drop it with pay, but then I thought I might get lucky and be bumped for an IOE.

Its kind of moot now - reserve coverage went negative for those days and so I used my PB days to drop a different trip.

I am curious about there being any way to know ahead of time if an IOE is being planned or scheduled? I think I will get a call the night before the trip if I get bumped, but are there perhaps any telltale notes on the rotation that might be revealing?

Thanks Scoop

Just call the guy and ask him.

If you see L next to the flight # on your rotation.

I dealt with her when he dropped the ball and was out of office. It was completely different and confusing in a good way. Thankfully she fixed his mess.

I want to say, and it's been six years now, but the LCA was calling in sick at the last moment to pay him back for something he had done.

Like I said it wasn't healthy and honestly I can understand why guys would've been mad. Me and my buddy were waiting for TOE and decided to go down to his cubicle together and it was nasty and unacceptable interaction on his part but as new hires we just had to take it.

Isn't his nickname "black cloud" or something like that. I've dealt with him and it was horrendous... Not what I expect out of Delta.

Where in the PWA does it say scheduling can " add any crap they want to your schedule any time they want" on a spill trip!

I can understand within the same days as you were scheduled to fly but why more days? I have a trip that ended at 1000 on July 3rd, why does the union think it's a good idea or even ok to add flying till 1pm on July 4th.

So if you want July 4 off why should you have to bid no flying 4 days prior to that day just so u don't get screwed because we gave up July as a 31 day month in the last contract.

Do you pass through base at all? If so, I'd be ****ed.

P3, I hope it works out for you, bro. Next time you have a long layover in ATL, I still owe you a beer.

3 honest questions here.

1. Why don't we have personal time? The once a year unpaid APD is not personal time.

2. When in section 6 what is the "value" placed on the sick program?

3. If we were to say all sick time is unpaid would that "value" be put into hourly rates?
