Anybody else having trouble with PBS?
Yes. And although not related to the IT troubles the PBS Bid assist is also pathetic - I have never ever had anyone answer in less than 10 minutes hold time - usually it is 20+ minutes. This happens every month so why don't we beef it up? Scoop |

The FDX guys are ticked at our 3% increase... I think it's safe to say a 30% increase is not on the table.

Didn't they do that while others were taking 40% cuts? I don't see SWAPA doing that in this environment.
Nov. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Southwest Airlines Co.’s pilots approved their first new contract in 15 years, gaining higher pay and job protection as the carrier embarks on marketing agreements with other carriers. Some Raises The contract includes at least 3 raises of 2 percent each, for 2007 and 2008 and in 2011. Raises in the other two years covered by the contract are tied to Southwest profits. The accord is retroactive to Aug. 31, 2006, when it became open for amendment under U.S. labor law. |

It's nice to see movement for those of us scraping the bottom, though. I'll have gone from 94% in category at the peak of the stagnation to 51% later this year.

My response was via their complaints on this forum. They were under the impression that we get 3% indefinitely.

Were you here before the "bad times?"
In fact I would venture that there would be a lot of upset guys if it was announced that we were abandoning PBS in favor of our earlier system. I would be happy either way. |

A 42% pay cut and mind-boggling QOL hits, you consider positive?
I never stated that our 2004/05 concessions were "positive." What I meant to state is that the PBS experience at DAL has been a positive one, especially compared to how it has worked out elsewhere. Nothing else. By the way, what do you fly and where? Until you actually fess up to some real DAL metal, I will just assume that you are the middle-school proxy for a PO'd pilot who doesn't have the time to read these forums and is letting his son post for him. |
