If you have someone on a buddy pass traveling from say... ICN... and they don't make the flight. Do their checked bags go anyways? I know that's how it works on domestic flights.

I may be able to keep them from checking bags. Working on that.

Dubious argument. Those reserves that desired to hit 80 hrs under the current staffing conditions would have little trouble doing it under the old rules. Old rules v new rules? Little difference this time of year other than 2 less days off this summer.

Really? There are thousands of posts out there complaining about how a reserve works his/her butt off and never hits the guarantee.

I'm not supporting the 30 day thingy... but what you said simply isn't true.

5:15 ADG will help reserves fill up next summer in less time... That will help improve reserve life in summer months starting 2015

Anyone stayed over at the crown for initial training lately?
Haven't stayed there in a while, but I remember the rooms were starting to look a little rough. Not sure if it's been updated since.

Last time I checked bags they were marked non -rev. I didn't make the flight [as usual]. Retrieved them at lost bag.

Our bags AND CAR SEATS got sent on the other day even though we didn't make the flight. We actually asked for the bags back before the flight left and they said they were already loaded and the plane was closed up.

Lucky for us it was a CR2, it broke, they had to do an aircraft swap and so the lead was nice enough to grab those bags and send them back. Talking to the lead the bags go even you don't.

I know, you're like me doing this... http://images.zaazu.com/img/000416-medium.gif I would think it's a safety issue but maybe it's not if the bags are screened.

We shall and never will check a bag as nonrevs. Screw that.

Hey on reserve after a PB day can they not give you anything before 10AM? Is a PB day the same as an X-day?

A PB day is an X-day, albeit one that likely does not begin and end at midnight. It is therefore a non-fly day, and all the same rules apply. You just need to know when the X-day does end, and know that you cannot be assigned flying or short call earlier than 10 hours after that point.
