RT looked good on paper, but in reality it will cost Delta a lot more, than had they gone with Pro in the first place. I think RT is already an end-of-life product, so it has to be replaced in a few years as well.

Oh, and 2 all nighters in there somewhere... which are an avoid bid.

Uhoh, bad juju, tack a dead chicken to your door, sometime that helps...:)

Interesting that Flight Ops decided to move the pilots into a disapproved (by DALPA) hotel in San Diego. I wonder if this is an indication of the future relationship between the pilots and Delta?

The hotel indicates they hope to have done enough renovation by August 6th to gain approval. Seems strange that Flight Ops could not wait another month to move the crews, assuming the hotel gained approval by the DALPA hotel committee .

I'm on my standard not allowed to go west of the Mississippi in July, but I loved that now disapproved hotel (that was previously the crew hotel)!

How much of that is domestic? Somehow I have to figure out when to get my uniform cleaned?!?!

BCN Crew Hotel Rate

Anyone done BCN on vacation recently?

I found a note on mycrewguide saying we can get the crew hotel for 76 euro/night, but that was about a year ago...Anyone done this recently? What's the mechanism to book at this rate? Their website starts at 122/night.

Any other recommendations for the area? We're going to be flying in with 2 young kids (under 6) and then training over to France to meet some friends. I need a few ideas of how to entertain everyone for a few days in BCN - I'm thinking the beach but have never been over there.

The current place is much, much better by any metric--only thing it doesn't have is a water view.

Like daldude said--why the rush?

More evidence that "constructive engagement" is a one-way street the company embraces only when it benefits the company.

A domestic trip at the end of each of those blocks. 1 AMS and 3 KEFs (11 hour 3 day. Like sailing said, next summer I won't be able to throw bags on them.) and the 2 domestics; a 3 and 4 day. Yeee freakin' haw!

Mine will have lots of time off between (not enough to go home of course) so I'll do my laundry at the crashpad.

OK. So by your refusal to answer my question about whose contract you would rather have than ours, I have to conclude that your grenade throwing about all things dALPA and our contract is nothing but sniping. You have no real argument, therefore you snipe and throw grenades. Played out you are.

You have had ample opportunity to answer.

From our little world here on APC, it appears that the July scheds are a big 👎 from most of us. Lots of avoids disregarded and the bonus denial. Not sure if this is a summertime thing with high alvs, shortened months and lots of vacation (at least in my cat) or something more nefarious.

Ouch! feeling your pain. I bid reserve but got a 90hr line instead. I guess it doesn't matter because I would most likely have flown 90hrs on reserve anyway.

I still can't believe we can be assigned 90hr lines.:(
