I may be able to keep them from checking bags. Working on that.
Last time I checked bags they were marked non -rev. I didn't make the flight [as usual]. Retrieved them at lost bag.

Our bags AND CAR SEATS got sent on the other day even though we didn't make the flight. We actually asked for the bags back before the flight left and they said they were already loaded and the plane was closed up.

Lucky for us it was a CR2, it broke, they had to do an aircraft swap and so the lead was nice enough to grab those bags and send them back. Talking to the lead the bags go even you don't.

I know, you're like me doing this... I would think it's a safety issue but maybe it's not if the bags are screened.

We shall and never will check a bag as nonrevs. Screw that.

Haven't stayed there in a while, but I remember the rooms were starting to look a little rough. Not sure if it's been updated since.
You are right about the Crowne

Just stayed at the Holiday Inn for 5 weeks. I'd go back there in an instant n

Hey on reserve after a PB day can they not give you anything before 10AM? Is a PB day the same as an X-day?

A PB day is an X-day, albeit one that likely does not begin and end at midnight. It is therefore a non-fly day, and all the same rules apply. You just need to know when the X-day does end, and know that you cannot be assigned flying or short call earlier than 10 hours after that point.

But the Surly Furious I had in Minny a while back is possibly the best beer I've ever had. It's billed as an IPA; definitely not a West Coast IPA (which I also enjoy). Great balance. More like a strong ale. I see they sell it in the Cibo shops at the airport now.
Surly Furious is good! Evil Twin by Heretic Brewing in southern Cali is very tasty as well.

I have no idea how you trek around with all that additional equipment anyway.... I'm in awe standing in the jetway with all that stuff piled at the door. I was a ramp rat in a previous life. I never saw stuff like that.

We just decided to leave the car seats and buy new ones at my parents and leave them there. Should've done that long ago.
