Are you guys really going to spend an entire day arguing about someone properly using the term fiduciary duty?

I think the main reason this thread has taken a dive is, nowadays posters come on here to fight with other posters, instead of actually debating the issues that really matter.

If you have a winning argument, stick with it, keep preaching it, state it again and again.

If you don't have a winning argument, insult the other posters and get mired down in stupid stuff.

Great job. I love debates. But, I'd rather go find the replay of the 1-0 soccer game than read this.

+1
Used to hear the latest rumors/innuendos, tips for bidding, sideboob, etc. Now I have to sort through too much to find the occasional nugget.

Hey [even though Yankees Suck] you gotta respect the Babe.

Great hitter, great pitcher, great fielder, etc. I think Hank Aaron, the true "home run king" in my book, had somewhere like 2000 additional at bats compared to Ruth and in that time only got a few dozen more homers. Nothing against the HR king at all, but the Babe was the shiz.

Depends a lot on the era. I don't think pitchers were throwing 98 MPH cutters hitting the corner at will back then. More like, "any of you outfielders think you can throw a few innings?" Same can be said for the "*" boys.

Whew... that was a lot of clean up. index and gearjerk I'm going to assume were just upset at how excruciatingly boring that soccer game was. :)

I never bought into that argument. If anything, I bet they got away with basically unlimited filing/spitting/gluing/etc and the strike zone was considered by many to be significantly larger than today's. Dirty rotten cheater steroids aside, they've made it way, way easier to hit homers and its hurting the game IMO. We may never again see greatness like Ricky Henderson or Vince Coleman, or even the "Killer B's" style of play (to that extent at least) as everyone sits back and waits for the long ball. Its still the greatest sport on earth though.

Ok... upon further examination.. this picture has a lot of weird stuff going on, so.... sorry but not sorry for the large picture:

The thrust levers are at idle and the autothrust is off- looks like they haven't unspooled fully yet, though. The CA's side stick priority has been selected, and he's apparently grabbed or in the process of grabbing the plane from the FO (hence the bro touch on the thrust levers).

This fantastic display of airmanship is brought to you by our codeshare partner, China Eastern.
