LA ERB likes the backdoor.

After backdooring my schedule, I feel like I got backdoored. Screwed by the shuffle. That'll teach me to ask for one whole weekend off.

Rotations are built to minimize credit time. Delta will not allow for one minute of extra credit time because of a survey's result.

Remember that the number we are really concerned with is pre-tax income, not profit. I'm pretty sure that number was north of 3 billion last year.

It would be about 2.1 percent more however your pay rate would have been about 2% less.
Would it hurt you to say "I'm opposed to concessions on C15." Or would you prefer to keep assisting management by lowering our expectations? |

There you go again trying to equate C2012 with management's decision to grow the airline. The two are not connected. We haven't displaced because the airline is growing...C2012 notwithstanding. If the airline were shrinking, we'd be displacing...C2012 notwithstanding.
I know you know this, yet you continue with this obvious straw man. Why is that sailingfun? Carl |

Carl, the increase in jobs verses the increase in block hours do not show any loss of jobs. We did not even start to grow until last November 18 months into the contract and never saw the CA displacements. One more time, crew planning did not making any changes in their staffing formulas for contract 2012. Our total system block hours are actually up only modestly at this point since the contract was signed yet the have now posted bids for almost 900 new Captains.

I've already shown you and alfaromeo this airline's growth in ASM's since the contract was signed. The growth of pilot jobs has not increased commensurate with the airline's growth. You both chose not to respond to that post...I understand.
Carl For the August 2014 bid period, mainline scheduled pilot block hours at a system level are up 3.3% compared to August 2012 and up 4.7% compared to August 2013. Note that the first year after the contract was signed block hours actually went down. |
