I would hope not, but since I've read reports that a DALPA member was being paid for "communications" work at home (initials BH I believe) I'm curious if the same could be said for the individual who shoots an email out on a Sunday before sitting back to watch the games that day. Cynical? Maybe, and most likely there is nothing like this taking place. I'm curious is all. Forming an email on a Saturday and getting paid for it, and then sending it out on Sunday to double up on the pay....well, let's say it wouldn't be right IMO. But if there's a DALPA product that has all the information as to who gets paid and for what on the site I'll go look there for my answers. Not holding my breath.

Well I for one think it is great if you want to take the time to be the ALPA watchdog. Seriously I do. But please, if you are going to do that, use verifiable data, facts and statistics, not something that Spackler makes up at the Spiral Staircase. ;)

You're correct. That is why we are doing close to 55% of the Atlantic flights but the EASK is only 46%.

That would explain the great eastward migration of the big busses....

A 12% profit sharing payout seems plausible at this point. :D

Scoop

They also gave guidance that 3Q14 would be bigger than Q2.
Say it's the same... add another $340m
Keeping 4Q14 the same as last year.... Add another $116m

For the year that would be $895m... or about 76.8% more than last year.

I'm not convinced it will hit 14.67%, but things are looking pretty good...

Using above numbers:
If you had a 2013 payout of $10,000 the Feb. 14, 2014 would be around $17,687
If you had a 2013 payout of $20,000 the Feb. 14, 2014 would be around $35,375

"Separate post".... (To make 80 happy:p)

I don't like that the plan was reduced, (although I like hard pay over variable) but as a frame of reference the C2012 PS plan in this scenario would only pay about 14% less than the pre-C2012 plan.

Most of the Iranian and Iraqi civil controllers are retired us controllers or patco strike casualties. I've flown them back to the states from Dubai on several occasions. If one is on board, you get to cut that corner in Iraq, pay attention to the depressurization route tho...

Anyway, it will definitely add expense to the company.

The Iranians in the last few years seem to be 100 percent local. The expats seem to be long gone. Iraq has a lot of expats.

TLV was transferring from the 744 to the mighty 777 in October. Inquiring minds and all.

You are prolly right. I haven't flown mumbai in 3+ years so no doubt my info is dated. The Iraq expats have a sweet deal according to them...contract work for big dough with the first 95k tax exempt annually.

id go its a good chance to get questions answered and eat and drink back some of our dues dollars. be warned that some of the alpos are useless there but if donaretti shows up its worth hearing his and giving your perspective to him. i hate political money but i started giving to the pac and also got a nagging contract question answered from one of them. they are gonna spend our dues and be the guys who try to bring us the next contract so make sure they know we mean business on this next round and 4611 aint cutting it

Did you mean 2015 for the second numbers?
