How will guys jump?

Quite a few, I'd guess. There's a lot of people doing a commute between the 3 west bases. Opening another narrowbody category will have an impact on seniority across almost every category out west, except 330A and 767A.

So if we draw down SLC and put RJs into Juno. Alaska won.

Doubtful, You need to understand the church politics behind the hub in SLC and stock holdings.

As a non SLC what is the stock issue and religious politics. Thx

My first flight impression: Two thumbs up. The thing is really sweet. Much better than paper Jepps. And it could be fabulous once the Feds let them turn on all the capabilities.

HOWEVER: the mount sucks. There's gotta be a better solution.
Maybe not so bad in other jets with bigger cockpits but in the 737 its in the way.
Potentially so much in the way that I'm worried somebody's gonna smack the yoke on it in the flare and really prang a landing.
I'll be paying close attention to where me and my FO clamp that thing.

There is a much better solution. USAIR has it on their aircraft. The traditional chart holder below the window is modified with a U shaped groove on the bottom and a rubber backing. You just drop the tablet into the groove. If you want to hold it simple lift it out. They have had no issues with the tablet moving in turbulance.

It a great location to connect the intermountain West. It also doesn't hurt that the Mormon Church is there. They run some very big businesses and the place is flush with cash.

Perhaps a better way to frame the question is to review OAG flight, load factor and available revenue data. Delta will adapt to markets to sustain and grow profitability. On that basis, SLC looks just fine from my 12 month old snapshot. SWA has been the loser as Alaska and Delta adjust to Delta's expanded presence in SEA.

The pieces do play together, but you have to look three or four moves into the game. It is not zero sum between Delta and Alaska.

They will keep a total of 100 757's. Fact.
Subject to change as always.

Looking to buy some more from China. Rumor.
