The JV only ensures a share of the flying, not what airplanes are used to do the flying. Also, smaller airplanes means more jobs. From a seat standpoint 1 A380 equals how many B767s?
Yeah, but but but.... pilots flying more productive airplanes should be paid more money. That's the way it's always been, and that's the way it should remain. Enjoy the paycuts gentlemen. MD88 needs to calculate how much cost of living these displacements will cost..... It's exactly the system you want, so you shouldn't be surprised at this turn of events.

/forgive the rant, but I told you so.

The company held off hiring until it was too late. Now everyone on the list is feeling it.

If RA wants relief, he needs to compensate everyone. Not just 747 captains with a pension.

It ain't a Delta airplane until it's sitting on the ramp with a widget on the tail. It ain't a Delta job until there is a bid saying so. You and I aren't gonna live long enough to see 330A, my friend. And Ill betcha the 74 guys won't leave until they turn 65....

At least reserve is better than is used to be.
