I have a question. I swapped a trip earlier in the month that took me over the ALV. I didn't think you could swap/pick up over the ALV. Then I dropped a trip, and then tried to pick up a trip that is exactly the same length, to the minute, but it denied it saying that it would take me above the max pick up. Are you able to swap and take yourself above the max pickup?

Yes, ALV sadly does not apply to swaps.

Yeah this is just a poorly thought out stupid rumor from top to bottom.

Even if the plane "went too senior" whatever that means, that just means where they would have been (100% in higher paying equipment) is more junior and cheaper than it would have been. The fuel numbers have long been established and I seriously doubt AirTran could keep something so super top secret for so long, even if they were the only source, which obviously they weren't. Boeing, Hawaiian and every other operator would also have to be in on it to complete the conspiracy.

I'm calling it. Time of rumor death: 19:32Z

How can it be too senior if 85% of the pilot group gets the top 12 year pay?

We signed a firm deal for all 88 airframes. Delta does not have to fly them but we will be making the lease payments.

Was this LCA standing outside of a Taco Bell in downtown Atlanta?

Did she have an Adam's apple?

I'm surprised the employee relations dept at Delta didn't seize upon on this opportunity. Just one of the guys. Group hug!

Or 350? Maybe a stellar lease deal on orphan 346's for the lift until said RFP replacement starts to show. Sweetening the pot similar to rumored 744 deal on supposedly parked 4 aircraft

4 engine jets are a harsh mistress

GS with conflict?

No, I used 9 of 18 payback days I have and dropped 9 days for 63 hours, flew one 4 day for straight pay and have gotten two greenslips for 63+ (X2). I'm flying the second one starting tomorrow. :)

So, the $64,000 question. Are you making roughly $64,000 this month including retirement, per diem and intl override?
