While you're at it, name a few reps that DO meet your standard. I find it hard to believe that you can convince yourself that ALL the reps are weak/stupid/pliable/pickyouradjective. Must be nice to have all the answers.

I'm not a rep, and hopefully never will be, but I have been generally very impressed with the high level respect they have for the responsibility they have been entrusted with. I've sat in the back of the room and watched them agonize over difficult decisions - sometimes there just isn't a good answer.

It is a considerable personal sacrifice for them, and your continuous, public contempt for them (specifically the 44 guys) is uncalled for. Objective disagreement is healthy and necessary. Insinuating/stating that they are career politicians, too weak to do the right thing, is simply incorrect.

Believe what you want Sailing, but at my date of hire, North and South are 1457 numbers apart. This is straight off of the September seniority list. Not quite 1900, but far more than your 500 number.

I was curious so I checked.

The seniority of a South guy Hired on 10/2/2000 is 9226.

The seniority of a North guy Hired on 10/9/2000 is 10145.

So the difference of a little over 900. The spread increases with different dates.

No issues but if we decide to merge with Hawaiian, some North guys that were hired in 2000 might get screwed because they are mixed in with South guys hired in 2007. We all know Hawaiian has Captains with DOH of 2007 and higher.

Not a seniority debate. What is done is done. Just hope the merger committee has all the different scenarios.

Your post is 10% on point an 90% red herring. No one is questioning the work and sacrifices made by reps. That some of them serve the bureaucracy or their personal agendas more than the pilot group's is a different discussion for a different time.

Despite their hard work and sacrifice, should they not be held to account or called out when they mislead or misrepresent their constituents?

It is my understanding that at least one or more of the C44 reps misrepresented their positions to DAL MD88 Driver on at least one occasion. Does Driver forfeit the right to raise an issue with his reps' integrity if so warranted? :confused:

Look again. I see some 900-1000 numbers difference. That's just at a quick glance.
