I'm thinking of putting together and attaching a proposal to my survey.

From a pilots perspective, can anyone think of why it would be a bad idea for a reserve pilot to be able to yellow slip a trip that is outside his days available grouping and be awarded it over a pilot who has no yellow slip in at all?

I hope my question is at least as clear as mud. :)

I don't want Tsquare banned either even after our incident the other day.

I don't know what generated all this talk about getting me banned, and it would be good for me if I wound up somehow with a lifetime ban, but I just wanted to tell you that....

BUTCH..... Gets it.

Can you imagine this place without a modicum of control? First officer Ho Lee Fuk would be offended.

It's a nice perk and we actually used to have that ability. A smart senior reserve can minimize overall days worked. Like almost everything else it's a cost item. That's why we have the survey to prioritize those items.

Completely agreed newK. That baffled me when we lost the ability to do that. Still does to this day... I'll throw it into the survey that counts. ;)

I don't know about the other bases, but from what I'm seeing in NYC, it might help the company in some instances.

FAR 117 screws a lot of things up. (To put it nicely.) ;)

Everything can be expressed in terms of a bell curve. The only caveat is that the 2nd and beyond deviations are usually the most vocal.

I've seen the same in Mecca. I'd be willing to bet it's a cost neutral item.
