Looks like the bid packages for the 717 were pulled and time is being added. Hope they come up with better trips. Ah never mind, just ATL and DTW 717. NY is still screwed.

I'm always worried that I'm going to burn my self somehow.

Your PBS Committee has done an outstanding job over the years developing all sorts of tools to help out with these kinds of questions. Check out the following link and under "Calculators" there is a reserve pay spreadsheet that will tell you exactly how much a reserve line with vacation, etc is worth.

Anyone use the VFD on the 737? Was it the full cockpit (all panels) or just a partial cockpit?

All the time! The VFD. Is the only thing I miss about the 737 v 757.

Anyone else agree?

What am I missing on the insurance options. Looking at the Gold HRA and the Gold/Silver HSA's. Now that it's just my son and myself to cover besides the preventive checks(covered), him having 2-4 visits for the usual kid stuff,
and one or two visits for myself we don't seem to use much(Knock on wood). If you contribute the max to the HSA you lower your tax bill and at worse case after paying the higher deductibles, still have money to roll over. If we spend about what we have done the last 2-3 years it's possible to have much more to roll over. The calculator shows the bronze being the cheapest but I'm leaning towards the silver or either gold. Ideas, opinions?

VSD?

In that case each ND can be configured independently...

I am teaching myself to use it, maybe then I will learn to like it ;)

I like the information but would like to have a "chat" with the UI designer that thought it would be a good idea to make the remaining smaller navigation display formatted in "rose" mode instead of "arc" mode.

The stuff you normally look at full screen is relegated to the top 1/4 or 1/3 of the display with the addition of the vertical situation display on the bottom, so it feels like looking though a soda-straw.

Oh and if you were talking about VFDs, never mind

Cheers
George
