That's exactly WHY you are a new hire, because they are short staffed in the narrow bodies.

We are overstaffed on the 747 with displacements coming though, so you've got that going for you.

ATL320B coverages are all jacked up. Says there are only 4-5 available at the end of the month, but there are 20+ on reserve. Several of us newbies do not have schedules yet in DBMS, either. Not sure how we're bidding Golden Days tomorrow when we haven't been assigned X days yet.

I think all the new NYC 717 FOs forgot to bid. I get off IOE around 18 December and managed to get 21-31 December off in my reserve bid. If I get 21 December as a golden day I'm only looking at 2.5 days of reserve for the entire month. Might even be able to hold a line in January.

I've seen those things swing dramatically, even in a small category like LA. This far out, I don't think crew sched has a clue yet.

Yeah, it will be negative or even on every Fri, Sat, and Sun and all the holidays after the 1st PCS run. I've just never seen them all above mins the day before they start PCS runs.
