True.

DPMP for a single guy is a no brainer. For a couple, it's a pretty simple decision.

When you throw a single child into the mix, the decision becomes harder unless you have braces or something like that coming up.

For a family with several kids, DPMP is back to no brainer.

That was my sort of thinking. We've only got one and looking to generate number 2... I keep hearing people talk about the HSA game, but that seems like it could be risky.

I'd be willing to bet that the 350 will be a common type to the 330, and going to the big french jets from the little ones is only a 2-3 week conversion.

I'm not complaining! Sounds like this is 50 airplanes to replace the parking of 24ish. That's not a bad trade, but the big bird needs to pay whale pay for what it's replacing.

It'll be interesting to see the delivery timeline.

Oui oui, Fifi!

They already granted it a single type.

The Common Type Rating is approved for A350 XWB and A330 pilot training*| Airbus News & Events

If I were CEO I would have a butt load of 319/320/321/330/350's.

That 350 is gonna be a nice one.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but when I was at NWA, we were preparing to be the Goldcare provider for the 787. As far as I know Boeing stiffed us on that contract.

If you are planning on having more kids then go with the lowest deductible non HSA plan available. You know you will have expenses and it is very likely you could have huge bills during child birth (doesn't take much these days to get ran into a C section or spend a couple days in the NICU).

Once the all the minions are here then go with a high deductible HSA. We have 4 kids and my wife hauls them to the Doctor all the dang time. She never tries to limit our healthcare expenses. So far the last 4 years we would have been better off with the Silver HSA. I'm switching there this year and am just going to throw my PS check and the difference in premiums into my HSA account. Should be cheaper unless we have a disaster.

You have the option to request a regular schedule before your last day of OE. You will the have a blank schedule for the rest of December. There is no pay guarantee so you will have to pick up trips from open time or the swap board but you can get Christmas off if you want.

That's good gouge--wish I'd known that in Sep (when I finished IOE)! Could you point me to the PWA ref, so I can try to absorb yet another nugget, please?

Does this PWA learning curve ever flatten out...??

No, it does not 'cause just when you think it has, it reaches out of nowhere and bites you in the arse!:)

Just trust me on this one!

With regard to HSA accounts is there an option to put pre tax profit sharing $$ into the HSA? Anyone know?

Remember too that if you have a disaster and have huge hospital bills that you can set up payment plans with the hospital. I did so with Children's hospital. Did a twelve month no interest.

Before that was over though I got another 12 mo no interest for the other kid.

Then when one of those was done we got another for the previous kid.

And then one more.

We had a lot of medical bills. A lot. Had it been 40 years ago we would have probably lost both so it was worth every penny.

Anyone else anxious for the first pcs run today? Normally I don't care, but thanks to unstacking, I care this time.
