I did the blind swap thing for awhile, but kinda like to know what trips I'm asking for.

It's kind of a pain to set up (and even to use until you get the hang of it) but Easy Swap allows you to filter trips and then it will log in and enter all the swaps by rotation #/date for you.

I think it's $4.95 a month, but it's worth it if you get one good swap a year. You also need windows and the persistence to work through their crappy interface :p

So...does this work on the EFB/Surface the company gave us? Has anybody tried it?

Is DeltaNet having some problems? Can't log in. Thx

Edit: NVM. Working OK now.

I don't think there is a method to just have a blind PS request in with qualifiers. In the swap with the pot template it only asks for what rotation you want to drop and what rotation you want to add. I wish there was a way we could have in a blind open request with qualifiers for a swap. Maybe I'm overlooking something but I don't think it's possible under the current system. [edited] I just revisited the swap with the pot template and clicked on the help button. I learned there is a "wildcard" request you can make but the only thing you can put in for qualifiers is the length of trip. So you can do a blind swap request but the only thing you know about what you will get swapped into is the length of trip and the start date.

On a different subject, is the A350 the same type is the 330. If not does it require a full blown training event or just a few days of differences?

What is the upgrade from A330B to A320A like?

You get the full course.

If you just upgraded a phone and paid the "upgrade" fee SOMETIMES you can get that forgiven. I like to use the Chat function on the website to "speak" with a representative. And I asked if that upgrade fee could be refunded. I got it refunded for my wifes upgrade and a credit for my upgrade. YRMV.

Sooo... I got a new iPhone 6 and played with the EFB today. The dichotomy is stunning.

On the plus side--when I bought a 32GB iPhone 5, it cost $299.

Today, more than two years later, Best Buy just gave me a $201 gift card for it. Didn't even need to buy a phone there (but I did). I wonder how they're making those numbers work?

Welcome back Drank.

No. Prior to C12 the gave them a loophole. After C12, they gave them an exemption.

Richard wants to make SEA a hub to Asia, feeding by adding our domestic flight as well as flights from Europe. I wonder what percentage of O/D pax there will be once we get the hub spooled up and get 30 gates.

Narita has very little O/D traffic, yet we still have lots of big iron coming and going through there. Mostly it's connecting traffic. That hub will be shifted to SEA.

I doubt Richard is too worried about what the average citizen in Seattle thinks about Delta's next wide body order, and I doubt they will boycott Delta if we offer international service out of SEA to Asia and Europe on new Airbus' vs. 787's.

Oh, and we already operate a lot of Boeings.

Question is how viable is SEA as a gate way. Word on the street is they can't fill the flights we have now even offering triple milage. Who wants to go thru Seattle. I hope they know what they are doing.

What street is that word on? I listened to the conference call, and it sounds as though they're pleased with the revenue growth despite growing capacity.
