My APD was denied too. I have a 4 day trip signing in Xmas afternoon. I never said it wasn't possible. I just don't think it's the norm and one should not bank on getting their holiday trip dropped via the APD method. Congrats on those who succeeded with it.

I would read that section again. It deals with pilots who have their training cancelled. On the situation you are talking about its seniority order. I suspect you just got lucky and got the trips you want.

"CAPPED RESERVE DAYS." I want to swap a 1-day for a 2-day that reports on the same day. I'm reducing the amount of open time. It just doesn't make sense.

I don't think there is a method to just have a blind PS request in with qualifiers. In the swap with the pot template it only asks for what rotation you want to drop and what rotation you want to add. I wish there was a way we could have in a blind open request with qualifiers for a swap. Maybe I'm overlooking something but I don't think it's possible under the current system. [edited] I just revisited the swap with the pot template and clicked on the help button. I learned there is a "wildcard" request you can make but the only thing you can put in for qualifiers is the length of trip. So you can do a blind swap request but the only thing you know about what you will get swapped into is the length of trip and the start date.

On a different subject, is the A350 the same type is the 330. If not does it require a full blown training event or just a few days of differences?

Sooo... I got a new iPhone 6 and played with the EFB today. The dichotomy is stunning.

On the plus side--when I bought a 32GB iPhone 5, it cost $299.

Today, more than two years later, Best Buy just gave me a $201 gift card for it. Didn't even need to buy a phone there (but I did). I wonder how they're making those numbers work?

Ok. Maybe you are right. I am just going by what was told to me by the scheduling supervisor at the time. He said that it would apply.
