I went in and got the iphone 6 and my new bill is $108 per month. I went from 1000 minutes to unlimited minutes and I went from 2GB to 3GB of shared data. I walked out of the store more than elated. My bill was reduced $60 a month and I got the new phone. I did a follow up call with my sales gal and asked her if I wouldn't have gotten a better deal without upgrading my phone and she said no. I'm glad I don't consult with you you for financial advice :D

That's because almost all plans are unlimited calls and texts now. The plans changed a lot lately and you moved to a new far cheaper far better plan. That would have been the case regardless of what phone you went with. Had you kept your old phone and changed plans, you would be paying less than $108 a month. You are paying almost $800 for your phone. Period. There is no such thing as a $299 iPhone 6. They will get their $750+ one way or another.

Well, all we can do is let our reps know our expectations and hold them accountable. I'd rather combine our energies at getting a good contract we can all be proud of rather than be keyboard warriors picking on those with whom we disagree. Seems to me that doesn't get the other guy to come around to one's point of view and just causes splits among us when we should be joining to let our management know we expect the best contract, period.

I just called both my Senators and Congressmen. All 3 calls were answered on the 1st ring by an actual person. In introduced myself as a Delta pilot and asked if they were familiar with the Deny NAI campaign. All 3 said yes and that they were on board to Deny NAI. I thanked them and asked them to keep up the fight. Sent the emails and did 3 phone calls and it all took less than 10 minutes. Please everyone do the same. It's easy to blow it off but now is the time to act.

Took to heart your actions and did the same! Although I was less than impressed with both of my WA state senate offices in their concern and understanding of the issues with NAI. I will follow up with an email as well. We have to get the word out!

You post lots of interesting and thought provoking stuff, but your constant insistence that those who disagree with you are manipulated is tiring. Besides, 2012 is old news. We should learn from the many mistakes made in passing that contract, but bashing on people isn't going to bring them around to your way of thinking.

It goes both ways. Both camps sling mud. You just dont agree with PD.
It is good to listen to both sides and take the blinders off.

By then the surface pro 6 will be a complete six pack and we can put it up on our tray table, with the 110 lb limit, and boom. We good.

Local Seattle news story states Delta punched Boeing and Seattle in the nose for not ordering Boeing products. No mention of the 100 737-900s currently being delivered.

Interesting histrionics, interspersed with acknowledgments of a logical strategy. I agreed with CGfalconherc that there is a Boeing/hometown element to the story, but the anchor got a little ahead of herself. The expert does acknowledge that deliveries were the issue. If Delta has a good offering in SEA, people will use the service. Long-term, this is a non-event. Short-term, this just provides publicity to Delta's creation of an international hub.

Notice Boeing is staying quiet on the issue. We remain a very large customer. We do have differences on the Exim Bank, but eventually there will be peace. It makes no sense for Boeing to enshrine a Delta-Airbus relationship, through blunders. Delta is making opportunistic purchases with both manufacturers, and carefully refraining from any criticism of Boeing with this deal.

Only reporters are trying to paint this as a staggering loss for Boeing. There are two manufacturers. Not every order is split. At some point, a decision is made. EOS. When you're in the market for a German luxury car, and you get the Audi, is that a staggering blow to BMW and Mercedes?

What airplane is Alaska offering, for their Trans-Pacific passengers, anyway? http://www.alaskaair.com/content/rou...::ResponseLink

You must be highly clairvoyant if you can tell who I agree or disagree with. I enjoy seeing both sides of arguments, and as I stated in my post, PD puts out lots of thought provoking stuff. Some of I agree with, some I don't. I've no problem with that kind of opinion, be it from him, Carl, Sailing, whomever. What I don't like, regardless of who slings it, is what I consider to be personal slams against a poster. I just think that it's counterproductive.
