Now that's the type of positive thinking I'm looking for. Assuming of course you're talking '10 hires and not the '08 hires!

It is a bit funny at times about to start year 4 pay and still being referred to as "oh, you're a new hire!"

I'll take the Guam base so I can call people "rookie."

Hong Kong traffic has picked up a lot.

One word: 747-200F. Do not put them away, since we closed ANC just base them in SEA and keep going. :D There would be a lot of happy folks.

Would we ever do a 747-400BCF (boeing converted freighter)? Since the 747-400 didn't fall out of the 5 year plan like it was rumored it would then how about just putting it in the 10 year plan with a conversion?

NEW HIRE! :D

I'm about to start 3rd year pay and I think my Captains wonder if I'm still on probation.

I will happily take DC9 in DTW. I would be tickled to death to sit reserve at home flying the 9.

I don't know where the thread went but maybe we can start a new one that says:

What Will Delta's Hiring Minimums Be? (and other musings) (STAR, STAR, STAR)

:D

wait... I guess we could still use this one. Its kind of a good indoc if ever we do start hiring.

Anybody hear about the other "crazy idea island base"?

I would eliminate a lot of overnights and security concerns in that continent...
