2007 hire just made capt on the 717 in NY. That's hilarious. Congrats to that person.

I had a quick question for you guys. I was filling out an app for Delta and came to the addendum section, and was a little stumped on how to proceed on one section of it.
Have you ever been convicted of any felony, misdemeanor, infraction, offense of other violation on any law?
So my question is if I had a couple of tickets and I put those under my Driving record section, do you have to click yes here and then put your tickets again?
Thanks again in advance

Yes. This is what I did and got the interview and job.

10302. If this was the price is right, you would win.

I'm going to guess 10300. January AE, with the NYC 330 seats on it and possibly SEA 73n will see NYC 88 & 717 go to 2008 hires. You heard it here first!:D

He was in my newhire class. He's a commuter. Congratulations to him. I hope I knows what he's getting into -- and enjoys BOS layovers.

It'll be 2015 by the time he gets trained and converted, so he'll have more than 7 years in, why is that 'hilarious'?

I think it's wonderful!

And there were 10,301 guys senior to him who could have bid it.

Bid what you want, but WANT what you bid!

That person just went to $189.33/hr, plus DC and PS on rsv is going to gross almost $250K next year....Hilarious isn't the word I'd use to describe the move.

Here's what will happen in the next couple bids. Now that there are some very junior guys on the 717, the more senior F/O's who didn't want to be on reserve will start bidding onto the 717, 'regular line only'.

So that guy on the bottom isn't going to be moving up any time soon.

But hey, he may live near enough that it's not a problem for him. Good on him.

Let's not forget 744 displacements next year. Never good to be a plug when there are displacements. Unless you're fond of Virginia Avenue.

You're obviously assuming he averages 82 hours/month on reserve for the full year, otherwise those numbers don't work. Is that realistic on reserve in NYC? I have no idea..
