This thread would wither and die if ACL was sworn to secrecy by a non-disclosure agreement, so the results are good (for APC, anyway.) AG seems like a pretty solid guy as well.

It serves no purpose for this group to fracture over the names. If Larry lives up to his campaign statement of not interjecting his personal opinion in to the issues, he will be the best rep we have ever had. He is very smart, articulate and capable, as is Mondo.

Alfa was more than correct when he stated that we do not need to divide this group going in to 2012. I implore each and every pilot go get behind their Council reps and support this union. Make your voices heard. Make your opinion heard, and make your reps work for you!!!

Mondo and Larry will work very well together. The two CA reps should work well together too. We as a group have a fairly good chance of C44 coming to a consensus with this group. The pilots (38% of them) spoke and now it is time to get behind them!!

That does not mean they get a free ride. What it means is that we support them and give them our input. When it is clear what the group wants it is easy to lead. Make them direct our MEC as we see fit.

Question - if the new rest and rule requirements are passed by the FAA, will that make delta properly staffed, short staffed, or even more fat.

If anything it would make us need more bodies. Dont know how much but it definitely wont hurt.
