when RA sets goals, he usually attains them.
When DALPA sets goals...oh, wait. DALPA only has one goal: "We'll get 'em next time."

PSA: Capts, with all of the hiring going on, when you fly with a fng and they do a good job, please fill out the probation critique. Furthermore, if you fly with one and think they don't, please address this on the spot. Don't tell them what a nice job they did and sack them on the report. Not cool! That is all.

Agreed. Let's have eachother's backs. While we've hired over 1000 so far, roughly only 600ish are all the way through and on the line. Divide that up over all our bases and planes etc and we have a LOT of CA's that haven't flown with a "new hire" in 6+, or in some cases almost 15 years.
One of the hardest things to do is to slow your routine. Nothing makes a high time pilot bust blood vessles in their head faster than going a mile or two past the marker on downwind on a visual. Its OK (and safer) to walk it back to their speed sometimes. Its the only way they are going to learn. They are new, under a lot of pressure and told they are on probation every 10 minutes. They have to answer to their negative reports with formal carpet dance appointments. No one should sandbag someone by "writing them up" behind their backs in any case.

Do guys really get upset about when you turn base? Again, in the old days, the Captain only wanted to be awoken when the gear went down. Has something changed.
(That's a true story. I won't name names, but in MSY we had a Captain that really lived this motto.)
Chill out, they are fngs. We were all there once, or twice

Imagine the results if DALPA actually played hardball instead of buying into the company-induced hallucination that they're a valued member of RA's managerial team.

My shoulder popped out of its socket just watching that video.
Oops, I just admitted that I watched it, so I can't slam you for ever finding that video on YouTube.
I better not answer the door for a while, someone will be showing up soon to revoke my Mancard.

"Results matter" to you? Do they? Seems like you do everything within your power to sandbag our results. Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt are your hallmarks.

That yoga video was freaky. It is like she was playing portal and half of her was in the portal one direction and sticking out another direction.
