Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Nope. No "very far" leftists there.
Sleeper, thanks for pointing this out. And on your first post, no less. Thanks to your info, I'm quitting the PAC. Cool, another 30 bucks a month towards hookers and blow for my 6-year-old and me.

It's been a while since I've done reserve....about how much does a week of vacation typically add to your raw score (717, 76 hour Reserve Guarantee month)? Thanks

Mods, I'd like to report a hacking. Every time I try to respond to a post, this photo of GunshipGuy's girlfriend keeps getting added.
If this doesn't get resolved, Timbo will be spending far too much time here. Thank you.

Fellas, March bidding question:
I have vacation in March. Should I bid reserve?
4 days of vacation = 13.0 hours of credit in March
80 hr ALV for March = 67 hours left for a potential reserve line, no?
How many days would I be on reserve?
Would my guarantee still be 80 if I didn't fly above 67 hours? (e.g. I could fly 30 hours and get paid for 80 or fly 72 hours and get paid for 85)
Thanks

With 4 days of vacation in March and an ALV of 80 (normal Reserve guarantee of 78) you have a Reserve guarantee of 80:36 . You will be on call 16 days with 10 X-days, unless your category gets the extra X day in which you would be on call 15 days with 11 X-days.
You can fly zero hours and you will still get paid for 80:36. There is a great Reserve Calculator that figures this out for every month and takes training, vacation, and MIL LV into account. I think you can download it from the DALPA site.

How did you come up with that?First, there is no category with an ALV of 80 hrs in March, unless they changed it (according to the bid packet I use). But if the ALV was 80 hrs, reserve guarantee would be 78 hrs (2 hrs less of ALV).
Second, you have 4 days vacation so there is 26 days of possible reserve days for March, which equates to 10 "X" days and 16 days of reserve. You are credited already with 13 hrs. If you fly zero to 65 hrs in March, you get the reserve guarantee of 78. If you fly over 65 hrs in March, you get paid on top of reserve guarantee.
Now a different game. You get a line. Vacation, while bidding, counts as time and credit (can only bid a line up to 87:30 and you have 13 hrs already credit). Once bidding is over, vacation is credit only now. So if you fly 70 hrs in March, your credit is 83 hrs.
Example (this happened to me in Nov): 2 weeks vacation (45:30 hrs credit) Bid a 3 day trip worth 26 hrs, so my Nov month was 71:30. After bidding was over, I dropped the 3 day trip and picked up a 10 day trip worth 62 hrs. Nov total was 107:30 (62 + 45:30)
Clear as mud?
Something for SD and AH (et al) to ponder regarding sick use... according to the CDC Flu View website the Flu cases in the 2014-15 season are running 5 times that of the 2011-12 season. Going to discuss this with my rep.

Welcome to APC. I feel honored to be the respondent of your first post.
Your description of the ALPA PAC is the brochure description. That description uses the link that you post to only discuss the money sent to incumbent legislators. When you look at that same report and study where the money goes for non-incumbents, the money goes almost exclusively to left wing democrats.
Money spent on incumbents is simply purchasing access to people in power. Money spent on non-incumbents shows where ALPA PAC wants the legislative branch to move each election. Based on the overwhelming amount of non-incumbent money going to left wing democrats, ALPA PAC is not pilot partisan. ALPA PAC is a left wing support group.

If it does not go to as many Republicans as you would like perhaps it is because some are anti-labor.

Woah, woah, woah.
I thought the money was supposed to go to pro-pilot individuals.
Because "pro-labor" could mean "pro-Boeing worker", which could mean "pro Ex-Im Bank," which is most certainly NOT "pro-pilot."
So which is it?

Is there a such thing as space positive ID90 travel? My understanding is that it is space available/stby travel and the only way to travel space positive is to go the 'Fly confirmed for less' route or buy a full fare ticket on another airline.
Thanks.

If your wish is to reshape the legislative branch with far left liberals in every election, then the ALPA PAC is a great place to send your money.

The "new, improved" PAS appears to be the next phase in the "Delta Big Data Beatdown" campaign.
