Carl, where did you hear or read that?
Now that being said, I have no doubt that the reason the conference call went down as it did was to make sure that if there was no clear consensus to trade it, to make sure there also wasn't official "direction" so as to give the NC the flexibility needed to make the deal. Although Carl is wrong, the way it was handled was just as as bad in my mind as if they had gone against specific direction from the MEC. |

You're taking 17% more away from me. Total B.S. This makes me mad. I'm going to go set something on fire in the backyard and then drive up and down the street honking my horn. I'm so mad. Wait? The MEC shot it down? Well, what the hell??? Without going to memory rat? That's just BS, they should have let us decide on that. What if we end up with some low wage with PS and never get to 320/hr? This makes me so mad. I'm just really gonna lay in on that horn. |

As far as comparing us to OAL on sick leave, I have a question.
If I bang in sick for a 5 day trip because I'm sick for the first 2 days, and then there is nothing in open time to pick up so I just eat up the entire 5, then I'm out 28 hours-ish. So my one sick call was 5 days and 28 hours. But over at Brand X airlines they may not even have 5 day trips. Maybe more 2 days. And if they're sick for the same amount of days, 2, then they may only be gone 2 days and 10 hours, I'm double that. So at USAIR, Merican and UCAL, what is an average day pay? And what is an average domestic and separately international trip in days and hours? Maybe we need to be relegated to 2 day trips, 3 max, and international is... 3 and maybe 4 at the max. Then sick leave won't be as expensive. We just need shorter trips. |
